Mrs. Sackett was born April 27, 1893, in Pike county near Nebo, a daughter of Marshall and Hattie Harlow Franklin.
She married Mert S. Sackett June 29, 1922, in Pittsfield. He died in 1954.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Pittsfield.
Surviving are four sons, Russell of Pittsfield, Lacy and Willis, both of Los Angeles, Calif., and Willard of Yates City; five daughters, Mary Borrowman of Griggsville, Lula Mae Bradshaw of Barry, Juanita Miller of Pittsfield, and Cora Watts and Myrtle Tharp, both of Nebo; 30 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.
Services will be held at 2 pm today, Wednesday, in Gill-Lummis Funeral Home in Barry, The Rev. Frank Claybourne officiating.
Burial will be in Park Lawn Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Barry Community Care Center or the donor's choice.
