Gilbert L. Bridgeforth, 71, of Rutland, passed away Tuesday evening, Sept. 22, at his home.
He was born Sept. 10, 1938, in Oxley, Mo., to Rex and Mary (Gamblin) Bridgeforth. He married Helen Crew on Oct. 11, 1956. She survives.
He was preceded in death by a son, Bill; two great-granddaughters; brothers, Ernest, Ray and Carl; sister, Rose Gilbert; and his stepmother, Flora Mae Bridgeforth.
He retired from Minonk Bakery, truck driving and as a welder. He attended Rutland Grade School.
