Letha Gray Robertson was born in Clifty Arkansas. His father was Isaac Quantrel Robertson. The identity of his mother is in question at the time of this writing. Family history dictates that she was a Choctaw by the name of Morning Star, but the name Mandy Gipson has also become suspect, and it is possible that these two woman are one in the same, or that neither is correct. Letha was called "Jack" by those who knew him, presumably due to his having a "feminine" first name. He was married three times, though I have not discovered the name of his first wife. His second was Faye, with whom he fathered a number of children, one of which, a daughter, I am aware is still alive at this time. His third wife was Dorothy LaVerne McGuire, who bore him five children, one of which is known dead, and one missing, at this time.
