He is survived by his wife Ruth; 4 children, Mark, Michael and Monty Schafer and Melody Travis; also survived by brother Delmer, 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be on Thursday, March 10 from 5-7 p.m. at Rundus Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be on Friday, March 11 at 1 p.m. at Rundus Funeral Home in Broomfield. Interment will follow at Broomfield County Commons Cemetery.
