Ruby Vaughn Scheider, 87, of St. Augustine, died Feb. 2, 2004, at Flagler Hospital. She was a native of Suwannee County, and had resided here since 1932. She was a retired clothing salesperson. She was a member of First United Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday at St. Augustine Memorial Park, the Rev. Pat Turner-Sharpton, officiating. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday at Craig Funeral Home.
Survivors: Daughter, Alicia Finiello, St. Augustine; sister, Mary Jean Lush, Perry; brother, Claude Jones, St. Augustine; three grandchildren: Teri Tompkins, Suzie Hancock, James Lee, Dana Scheider and Megan Scheider; seven great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
