GREAT FALLS, S.C. - Mr. Malcolm P. Jones, 79, of 46 Oak St., died Friday, March
30, 2001, at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill, S.C.
Born in Gaffney, S.C., April 28, 1921, he was the son of the late Victor Jones
and Belle Blanton Jones. He was retired from J.P. Stevens Co. and was a member
of Great Falls First Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Sue Burns.

He is survived by his wife, Ossie Sisk Jones; a daughter and son - in - law, Van
and Wayne Crocker of Shelby; six grandchildren, Wayne Furr, Charles Furr, Pamela
Crocker, Camela Patty, Denise King and Susan Rudisil; nine great -
grandchildren, Krista Anderson, Curtis Anderson, Misty Hamrick, Alisha Furr,
Christopher Furr, Michael Furr, Johnathon King, Ronnie King and Brandon Petty;
two sisters, Evelyn Walker of Cherryville and Marie Stanley of Shelby; and one
brother, Robert "Bobby" Jones of Smyrner, S.C.

The funeral will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Dantzler - Baker Funeral Home with the
Revs. Larry Roberts and John Mullis officiating.
Burial will be Monday at 5 p.m. at Sunset Cemetery in Shelby.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at the funeral home.
