The funeral services were held in the Wales meeting house. Brother Jonathan Midgley and Bishop John E. Rees addressed the saints and gave consoling remarks to those that were called to mourn. The remains were then conveyed to their resting place, headed by 24 young men and 8 young ladies on foot, who were followed by 23 conveyances, all filled with relatives and friends, who deeply mourn his loss.
