Mr. M. Garber, one of the pioneers of Springfield, died at 5:20 o'clock Monday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Lon E. Robertson, 738 South Jefferson St. Death was due to paralysis. Mr. Garber is a native of Germany and emigrated to America when he was five or six years old. He is survived by a widow and seven children. Funeral services will be held at 738 South Jefferson Street at 10:30 o'clock Wednesday morning with interment in Maple Park cemetery - Leader-Democrat.
