Kelly Lee Gray, 37, was born and raised in Lubbock and went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, September 22, 2009. He was born on November 1, 1971 in Lubbock to Danny and Debbie Gray. He graduated from Monterey High School in 1990. He was a loyal employee of Heavenly Paws where he loved each and every animal. Kelly loved to travel and recently enjoyed many trips with his close friends and family. He loved nothing more than to sit lakeside with his fishing pole at sunset. Kelly also had a love for music, the Dallas Cowboys, and Harley Davidson motorcycles.

He was preceded in death by his father, Danny Gray.

Those left to cherish his memory are his mother and stepfather, Debbie and James Clevenger, both of Lubbock; brother and sister-in-law, Kevin and Krystal Gray, both of Farmington, N.M.; Granny, Elsie Severson of Lubbock; loving girlfriend, Meredith Gooch of Lubbock; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A special thank you from Kelly's family to Ruben and Rachel Casas, his two best friends.

Services for Kelly Gray will be at Southcrest Baptist Church at 2 p.m. on Friday, September 25, 2009, officiated by Brother Jerry Wilson. Graveside will follow at Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday September 24, 2009 at Sanders Funeral Home.
