William F. Alexander of 628 W. River Street died at Elyria Memorial Hospital Friday at 11:45 p.m. after a brief illness.
He was born in Germany May 29, 1887, and has been a resident of Elyria twenty years. He was an electrician at the National Tube Co. 40 years, and was a member of the St. John's Evangelical church of Lorain, Ohio.
Beside his wife, Margaret, he is survived by two children, Norma Jane at home and Arthur of Elyria; one grandson; two sisters, Mrs. Roy Piper of Cleveland, O., and Mrs. Adeline Green of Ashland, O.; ;three brothers, Ed, of Willoughby, O., Henry of Elyria and Charles of Amherst, O.
Services will be from Taylor Funeral Home Monday, 2 p.m., with the Rev. Ernst Irion officiating. Burial in Elmwood Cemetery.
