Rita, 87, Minster, died at Wilson Memorial Hospital.
She was a daughter to Ernest and Mary (Westerheide) Nagel. On June 1, 1946, she married Bud Walters, who preceded her in death.
Surviving are two sons, William (Merlene), Phoenix, AZ, and Robert (Marilena) Columbus; three grandchildren, Maria Lekity, Anna Marie and Michael Walters, two step-grandchildren, Chris (Larryn) Carver and Jeff Carver, and two great-grandchildren, Latosha and Taylor Lekity.
She was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church and a former member and officer of Catholic Ladies of Columbia. She was the co-owner and operator of Shenks Dry Goods, Minster. She loved traveling, fishing and playing cards.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at the church, with Rev. Rick Nieberding officiating.
