Funeral services were held Tuesday, January 2, in Munselle-Rhodes Funeral Home Chapel for Mrs. Elvina Sophia Olsen, 53, with Rev. Norvell Wixom, and Eider H. A. Schultz in charge of the service.
Sacred selections by C.W. Wrinkle were "The Old Rugged Cross" and "The Lord's Prayer". Mrs. John H Maxwell was the organist.
casket Bearers were Walter Rakestraw, Donald Jones, Ken Parrish, Ronald Olsen, Ed Merriman and Leon Olsen.
She was born Nov. 22, 1919 at McCleary, Wash. On June 18, 1936 she married Marion E. Olsen in Walla Walla.
She is survived by her husband, Marion E. at the home: daughers, Mrs. Donald (Carla) Jones, Mrs. Janice Baccus, both of Milton-Freewater, Diane Olsen andKathleen Olsen, both at the home, sons, Alan Olsen, Salisbury, Rhodesia; Gene Olsen, Payette, Idaho; Gerald Olsen, Milton-Freewater; Chris Olsen at the home. Sister Mrs Ed Biers, McCleary, Wash., Nine grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Concluding the services and vault interment was in the Milton-Freewater Cemetery.
