Ephriam Parmely married Parmelia Wilson, the daughter of Captain James Wilson and Amelia Burgess Wilson on May 1, 1828 in Livingston Co KY. Ephriam and Parmelia had at least tree children:
1)Angess Marion Parmely (married James Patrick Threlkeld)
2)Mary "Polly" Angelina Parmely (married first Robert A Love and second John G Richardson)
3)James E Parmely (married America Ann Bridges

After Parmelia died he remarried a lady by the name of Sallie Taylor in Livingston Co KY on April 17, 1867.

Family Tradition has it that Ephrim operated his home as an Inn for travelers to spend the night. He would play his fiddle and after he was deceased my grandfather said on a clear night you could still hear the music playing from his fiddle.
