78 of Sun City, passed away on September 18, 2009. Helen was a Phoenix native. Her Mother moved to Arizona in 1890 and was an Arizona Pioneer. Helen played pro softball for PBS&W Ranglers. While living in Atwood, California she donated her time and energy to raise money to build the public pool. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Jerry, her daughter Pamela, her sons Bill and David, and her grandchildren Derek Shank, Keeley Heintz, and Jacob Shank. A Graveside Service will be held at 10:30 on Thursday, September 24, 2009 at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 23029 N. Cave Creek Road, Phoenix. Arrangements entrusted to Advantage Colonial Chapel.
