Mrs. Verena Albutz 85, mother of Paul Ablutz of Mohler, died at the home of he son on Monday mornig. No particular cause was given for her death except senile decay. Verena (Hochuli) was born inSwitzerland, March 1, 1846. She mde hr hme wt er sn Paul, on the farm nar Mohler, Wa. The funeal services were condcted by Rev Donald M MacNeil at the Community Congregational Church on Wednesday, March 11th and burial was in the Harringtn Cemetery. She and her husband came to Washington from Nebraska in 1904 and located on a farm near Mohler. Her husband preceded her in death on June 15, 1923. J E Ablutz, a cousin and his wife and a son of J E and his wife, all rom Gafield, Washington, were present at the funeral. (Citizen Mar 13, 1931)
