L. P. Brazell, 72,
dies at his home
Littleton Presley Brazell, 72, of RFD 3, Columbia, died at 5 o'clock Tuesday morning at his home, following an illness of two weeks.
Funeral services will be held at 4:30 this afternoon from Holly Hill Pentecostal Holiness Church. The services will be conducted by the Rev. D. P. Blackwell, pastor of Dentsville Baptist Church, assisted by the Rev. James Goude. Interment will be in the churchyard.
Mr. Brazell was a lifelong resident of Columbia. He was retired farmer and a member of the Macedonia Baptist Church.
He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. James Dennis of Dentsville; six sons, Claude C. Brazell, J. T. Brazell, Sam O. Brazell, Lonnie L. Brazell, Frank A. Brazell and W. M. Martin; one sister, Mrs. Dora Lee; one brother, Willie Brazell of Winnsboro; 19 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
