Thomas o. Hunt age 77, well known resident of Olney, passed away last evening at the Burgin NursingHome, where he had been a patient for the past several weeks. The family resident was at 245 East Lafayette Street for many years. Mr. Hunt was a native of Indiana and was born in Wayne Township of henry County. He was the son of William Hunt and Mary Hammack Hunt. Mr.Hunt was afflicted with blindness and was a familiar figure to many Olney residents.
He is survived by his wife Madge and 6 children: Harold and John Hunt of Peoria, Charles Hunt of Kenosha, Wis., S-Sgt.Paul Hunt with the United States Special Forces in Viet Nam, Mrs. Esther Logsdon of Hoffman Estates, and Mrs. Nellie Hout of Olney. There are20 grandchildren and 10 greatgrandchildren.
