Obituary:
Francis D. (Frank) Doyle, Sr., 63, of Export, died Friday in Jeannette District Memorial Hospital. He was formerly of Murrysville and was a retired employee of Mine Safety Appliance in Wilkinsburg. He was a member of LOOM 234, the IAC, and the St. John the Baptist Society, all of Export and the White Valley Athletic and Social Club. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Emma, in 1963. He is survived by one son, Francis D., Jr. (Spike) of Delmont; three daughters, Mrs. William (Barbara) Bartkus of Spring Church, Mrs. Albert (Noreen) Shuster of Delmont, and Mrs. Richard (Margaret) McClelland of Turtle Creek; two brothers, Edward L. and Thomas J., both of Seward; four sisters, Mrs. Mary Gibson of Detroit, Mrs. Gen Neubauer of Pittsburgh, Mrs. Paul (Theresa) Ehrhardt of Pittsburgh, and Mrs. Ellsworth (Mildred) Taylor of Monroeville; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Friends will be received at the Edwin N. Wolfe Funeral Home, Export. Services will be held Tuesday at 9 p.m. at the funeral home, followed by a requiem mass at 10 a.m. in St. John de LaSalle Church with Rev. Stephen McCarren as celebrant. Interment will be at Twin Valley Memorial Park. Wolfe Funeral Home, Export, in charge. Parish rosary will be said Monday at 7 p.m. in the funeral home.
