SGT, US ARMY AIR FORCES WORLD WAR II

Louis is the son of Orlando Gail "Lan" Martin and Emma James Martin. He had a twin sister by the name of Lois Dale Martin. He had a Brother named John Paul Martin and the oldest child and his other sister was named Maime Katherine. He was a Sargent in The United States Army Air Forces during World War II and died in combat.

I have been told by family that his letters home were filled with his worry for the safety of his brother John Paul Martin. John Paul was also in the military at that time. John Paul returned home alive and as I have already said Louis Died in combat.
