Janice Marie Seymour Gill, 79, of D'Iberville, MS died September 20, 2009.

She was born October 19, 1929, in Biloxi, MS. She was a graduate of Sacred Heart Catholic School of Biloxi and retired from nursing after 30 years from the V.A. Hospital in Biloxi.

Mrs. Gill was preceded in death by her husband, Earl D. Gill, son, Douglas Gill, parents, Edward and Emma Seymour, her siblings, Kenneth Seymour, Charles Seymour, Ella Mae Moran, Madeline Seymour, Emma Beaugez and Eran Ladner.

Survivors include her loving and dedicated daughter, Sandy (Joe) Miller of D'Iberville/Woolmarket, grandchildren, Angie (Gene Paul) Stenum of Woolmarket, Eric (Jennifer) Gill of D'Iberville, Chad Gill of D'Iberville, four great-grandchildren, Peyton Stenum, Makenzie Stenum, Jordan Gill and Addison Gill. One very special daughter-in-law, Eloise Gill of D'Iberville, her nephew who held a special place in her heart, Dr. George Dale (Jane) Ladner of Jackson, MS.

The family would like to thank her friends at the Villa Maria in Ocean Springs. Also, a special thanks to the incredible staff of Ocean Springs Hospital, Dr. Shelby and nurse Jackie Loper for their kindness and care given to Mrs. Gill.

There will be a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, September 23, 2009, 1:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in D'Iberville where friends may visit one hour prior to Mass.
