Wiley's father was Dr. Fredrick W. Longacre of Chester County PA, his mother was Mary Lou Wise of Pottstown, PA. They married Nov 25 1880 in Kansas City, Missouri.
They were descended from the Mennonite Longacre's, unrelated to the Missouri Longacre's that descended from the Swedish Longacre's.
It is unknown if they thought they were related or if they were aware they weren't related. They brought ten year old Wiley 430 miles from Bison, Kansas to Kingsville Missouri to be be buried with the Missouri Longacre's in Bluff Springs.
