Alma Etta Sides, 77, of Caruthersville, died June 18, 1989 at Pemiscot Memorial Hospital. Born Oct. 6, 1911 at Ashland, Miss., she was the daughter of Marion and Melinda Wilson Sides. She was a housewife.
She is survived by one son, Billy Lee Sides; Three daughters, Mrs. Gladys McCall, Mrs. Betty Marcrum and Mrs. Sally Floyd; Twenty-four grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Will Sides.
Services were June 20 at 2 p.m. at Dean Funeral Home chapel in Caruthersville, the Rev. Alvin McGill officiating, with burial in Little Prairie Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Johnny Marcrum, Steve McCall, Larry McCall, Jeremy and Jamie Floyd and Jarad Cole.
