John David Nichols, 89, of Chesterfield, passed away on September 27, 2005 to join the love of his life, Pauline, his wife of 55 years.
He is survived by two sons, three daughters and 22 grandchildren. John was a well known builder of fine homes in Hanover Co. and a longtime member of Buford Road Baptist Church in Chesterfield. John and Pauline lived near Rehoboth, Va., from 1945 thru 1956 they were tobacco growers on a 200 acre farm. After Pauline passed away in 1990, John married Laura Tinnel.
His family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Bliley Funeral Homes' Chippenham Chapel, 6900 Hull Street Rd., where funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday. Interment will follow in Dale Memorial Park.
