STORY -- Anna Mae (Pfeil) Story, 100, died on Sunday, March 4, 2018 at Arbors West in West Jefferson.
Born on Dec. 27, 1917 in Paint Township, she was a daughter to Frank and Bertha (Shepherd) Pfeil.
Anna Mae was a devoted member of the First Presbyterian Church for 73 years and served as secretary for many of those years. An avid gardener, she belonged to the London Garden Club and will be remembered for her beautiful flower beds. She loved cooking and baking for her family and spent many hours crocheting and sewing for others.
Survived by her daughter-in-law, Carol Sue Ames; grandsons, Mike (Dolly), Mark (Lisa), Marty (Sarah), Kevin (Betsy) and Chris (Teresa); great-grandkids, Erin, David (Brenda), Ashton, Lyndsay, Liz, Josh, Courtney, Abby, Brooke, Dan, Dayton, Olivia, Julia, Amber, Adrienne, Alex and Aiden; great-great-grandkids, Madison, Mavrik, Rein, Cooper, Casin, Cameron, Ethan, Thor and Royce.
Preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur Story; son, Bill Ames; infant daughter, Sue Carol; sister, Ruth Wheeler; and nephew, Bob Franklin Wheeler.
The family will receive friends at the First Presbyterian Church, 211 Garfield Ave., London, on Monday, March 12, 2018 from 11 a.m. to noon with a funeral service immediately following. Interment will follow at Paint Township Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Memorial Fund at the First Presbyterian Church or Loving Care Hospice.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to THE EBERLE-FISHER FUNERAL HOME, 103 N. Main St., London, Ohio.
