MELISSA KAY ABBOTT~DEAN, 38, died Thursday, September 18, 2009.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, September 22, 2009 at Hamilton's on Westown Parkway, 3601 Westown Pkwy.,
followed by burial at MASONIC CEMETERY, Des Moines, Polk County, Iowa.
Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
MELISSA born October 30, 1970 in Des Moines, Iowa.
MELISSA attended Valley High School and worked as a hairdresser until her Crohn's disease prevented her from working full time. Melissa was an animal lover and loved spending time with her children. She also enjoyed flowers, arts, crafts and fishing at Lake Okoboji with her family.
