Freddie Lunsford Huff, 87, of 825 Durham Rd., died Sunday, September 20, 2009, at her home. Born in Person County, Mrs. Huff was the daughter of the late Simeon Hester and Thelma Coates Lunsford and wife of the late Hugh Huff. Mrs. Huff retired from Collins & Aikman and was of the Primitive Baptist faith. Mrs. Huff was preceded in death by her brother, Everette Lunsford and her sister, Nancy L. Brann.
Mrs. Huff is survived by her son, Gerald Huff and wife Brenda and her daughter, Patsy Nutt and husband John R., all of Roxboro; two brothers, Joseph Nathaniel Lunsford, of Timberlake and Maynard Lunsford, of Roxboro; two sisters, Nonnie L. Broach, of Roxboro and Agnes L. Morton, of Timberlake; two grandchildren, Sherry H. Clayton and husband Calvin and Jennifer Nutt; three great-grandchildren, Dustin Clayton, Colby Clayton and Lilly Anne Clayton.
Funeral services will be held 3PM Tuesday at the Brooks & White Chapel by the Rev. James C. Shelley. Burial will follow in Burchwood Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Dustin Clayton, Colby Clayton, Ryan Stone, Al Stone, Dustin Brann and Vernon Hudgins.
