"RABBIT HUNTERS UNITE
The Devotees of This Form of Sport Have Formed Club at Neenah -
Neenah, Wis., Jan. 31. - The Rabbit Hunters club composed of several Neenah residents has been organized. The membership is confined to those who show a marked proficiency in hunting rabbits and certain restrictions are imposed thereby securing an organization which is composed entirely of rabbit hunters. At the regular weekly meeting Monday afternoon the following officers were elected:

President, Al Haerti; vice president, William hall; recording secretary, Louis Bergstrom; hunting instructor, Ed Westberg, chef, M.V. Morehouse.

The club has already engaged in two hunting expeditions into the country and another will be held the latter part of the week. On the last shoot, Ed Westberg had a narrow escape from drowning in the slough when he slipped from the bank."

Mortimer Vine Morehouse, father of Mrs. W.W. Wick, 300 Huron avenue, passed away Friday evening at 11:15 o'clock at his home in Milwaukee. Interment will take place Tuesday at Riverside cemetery, Appleton."


His obituary was published in The Post-Crescent in Appleton, WI on Wednesday, June 1, 1932.

Neenah - M.V. Morehouse, 82, former Neenah resident, died last Friday at his home at Milwaukee. Burial took place Tuesday morning at Riverside cemetery at Appleton.

Mr. Morehouse was born at Willsboro, N.Y., on March 3, 1850. He came to Wisconsin eight years later with his parents. He was married July 2, 1879. to Miss Edna Dopkins at Appleton.

Surviving are the widow, three daughters, Mrs. W.W. Wicks of Sheboygan; Mrs. J.C. Barr of San Jose, Calif., and Mrs. J.B. Hanna of Chicago. There also are eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren."
