Funeral services for Wilbur B. English, 78, will be held Saturday, Dec. 12 at 11 a.m. at Callaway-Allee Memorial Chapel in Crocket with Dr. Bill Austin officiating.
Mr. English was born May 21, 1909 in Leon County, TX and died Dec. 10, 1987 in Houston
Burial will be held in the Center Hill Cemetery in Lovelady, TX.
Mr. English was retired from the Warwick Hotels and a retired purchaser from Jorgenson Steel. Mr. English was a former resident of Houston and lived in Huntsville at the time of his death. He was a veteran of World War II having served in the U.S. Army in the 5th Battalion.
Mr. English is survived by four sisters: Etha Price of Huntsville, Florence Bartee of Lovelady, Ona Fonden of Houston, Pauline Smith of Bonham; five nephews, Morris, Vernon, Larry, Dexter, and Steve, 10 nieces, Genois, Ruby, Bonnie, Patsy, Bobbie, Madge, Billie, Paula Candy, and Joy.
The family will receive friends after 7 p.m. Friday at the Callaway Allee Funeral Home in Crockett.
