Luna Harrison BAYLESS, 92, a farmer all his life died Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. at his home, one mile northwest of the Freedom Church. He had been in poor health for several months and began sinking three weeks ago. Death was attributed to infirmities of age. Mr. Bayless was born near Alamo July 11, 1862, the son of John and Mary Myers Bayless. He married Elizabeth Stover on Feb 20, 1884, who preceded him in death Nov 20, 1891. Nov 20, 1895, he married Elizabeth Priebe, who survives. He was a member of the Freedom Baptist Church. Survivors besides the wife include five daughters, Mrs. Lottie Robison of Waveland; Mrs. Lulu Bryant of Crawfordsville; Mrs. Mae Bollman of Mooresville; Mrs. Hazel Newkirk of Crawfordsville and Mrs. Rose Glascock of Waveland; 3 sons, Nelson of Browns Valley and Fred and Lloyd of Crawfordsville; 10 grandchildren, 25 greats. Four brothers and a sister preceded him in death. Funeral services were held Friday.
