OBITUARY-

CLAUDE EARL POTTS

Claude Earl Potts, son of Almond and Mary Ann Potts was born May 16, 1893 at Christian county, Ill., and passed away Tuesday evening at the age of 53 years, two months and 26 days.
At the age of 13 years he moved with his parents to Hunnewell, Mo. Five years later they moved to Meadville, Mo.
On April 4, 1915 he was united in marriage to Alma C. Shore at her home at Meadville. To this union was born, Dwight Leland. After their marriage they made their home at Meadville. In 1921 they moved to Hendley, where he has been engaged in farming and live stock feeding.
He leaves to mourn his passing, his wife, Alma; son, Dwight and daughter-in-law, Nova; his aged parents at Olathe, Kans.; one sister, Elto Broaddus of Hannibal, Mo.; three brothers, Roy and Ray of Olathe, Kans., and Hiram of Canby, Minn.; a number of nieces and nephews and a host of friends. An older brother, Dwight preceded him in death.
His sudden and intense suffering was of a short duration. His passing was a great shock to his family and friends. He was a loving husband and father and will be greatly missed by his family and the community
