Jackie Adkison, of Hartford, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 19, 2007, at Flowers Hospital in Dothan. He was 62.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 22, 2007 at New Post Oak Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Clyde Smith and Brett Snell officiating. Burial will follow in New Post Oak Assembly of God Cemetery with Pittman Funeral Home of Geneva directing. His body will be placed in the church one hour prior to service time.
Mr. Adkison was formerly employed at Reliable Metal Products. He was a longtime member of New Post Oak Assembly of God Church. His passion in life was singing Southern gospel music. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Minnie L. Adkison, and numberous aunts and uncles.
