Grand Bay-The graveside service for Edith Mae Golden, 84, of Grand Bay, will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Apr 21, 1989, with burial in Hurtsboro Cemetery. The Rev. Mark T. Brantley will officiate.
Miss Golden, who died Tuesday, April 21, 1989, at the Convalescent Home in Grand Bay, was born Sept. 23, 1904, in Rutherford. She was the daughter of Joseph and Annie Lou Braswell Golden. She was a retired school teacher from the Mobile County public school system.
Survivors include three sisters, Mrs. Nelle Madge Stewart and Mrs. Mamye Pope, both of Lafayette and Mrs. Gladys G. Yancey of Grand Bay; several nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Corbitt's Funeral Home in Tuskegee is directing.
