Robert B. Linebrink, 78, Defiance, died at 10:45 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 8, 2005, in his residence. He was born April 8, 1927, in Defiance, the son of Fred and Blanche (Marchal) Linebrink. In 1956, he married Helen Edwards, who survives. He retired from Dinner Bell Foods, Archbold, in 1988, and was a member of Olive Branch Church of God. He served with the National Guard for eight years.


Also surviving are five daughters, Ann Limber, Pamela Ferguson, Rebecca and Amy of Defiance, Mrs. Larry (Kathryn) Steffen of Hamler and Mrs. Steve (Brenda) Brown, Stryker; and 10 grandchildren. Preceding him in death were two sons, John and Jeffery; a daughter, Linda; four brothers, Virgil Sr., Leonard, Harold and Dayton; and two sisters in infancy, Helen and Dorothy. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Mast-Mock-Hoffman Funeral Home with Pastors Ned Speiser and Isaac Shelton officiating. Burial will be in St. Johns Cemetery, Tiffin Township.
