Kimberly Robin "Kim" Hodges, 53, Medora, died at 5:58 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 19, 2009, at Schneck Medical Center, Seymour.

Born Feb. 9, 1956, in Greenfield, he was the son of Ivan Hodges, who survives in Dade City, Fla.

He was preceded in death by his biological mother, Georgia, and stepmothers, Ruth and Betty.

He married Tammie Powell Hodges on Sept. 29, 1990, in Pendleton, and she survives in Medora.

Other survivors include one son, Tony Hodges, Anderson; three stepsons, Devin (Mandi) Griffith, Chesterfield, Chad (Brittney) Griffith, Ingalls, and Shane Griffith, Medora; daughter, Kimberly (Chris) Michael, Anderson; seven grandchildren, Austen Michael, Alexis Hodges, Brayden Hodges, Bradley Hodges, Makenzie Griffith, Blake Griffith and Kaden Griffith; brothers, Danny (Edie) Hodges, Florida, and Barth (Sandy) Hodges, Campbellsville, Ky.; and sister, Vickie Hodges, Florida.

He served in the U.S. Marines from 1973 to 1977 and was a member of Medora Christian Church. He was instrumental in chartering the Medora Community Lions Club and served as past president.

Tammie and Kim moved to Medora in 2003 to live out their dreams in the country.
