Dale E. Imes, 85, of Winthrop, passed away peacefully at home on Nov. 22, 2004.
He was born in Mansfield, Wash., on Jan. 2, 1919, to Burt and Prudie Imes and grew up on the family homestead in Winthrop.
Dale served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He returned to Winthrop in 1981. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and deer watching.
Dale is survived by his wife Fern Imes and daughters Donna Glenz of Seward, Alaska, Nancy Carlson of Anchorage, Linda Helenberg of Castle Rock, Wash.; step-daughter Dian Sloop of Everett; sisters Harriet Haase of Winthrop and Evelyn Bair of Roseburg, Ore.; and brother Bill Imes of Winthrop.
He also leaves numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
At Dale's request, there will be no services.
