George R. Pillsbury died at his home on the Kennebago Road, having been in poor health for several years.

He was the son of Charles and Mary Pillsbury, and had been a farmer, living in West Rangeley most of his life. The family moved to the home on the Kennebago road about 12 years ago. He was a member of the Rangeley Free Baptist Church.
