Mrs. Sara F. Snyder, wife of Tom Snyder, died at her home near Harris Lake in the Hope School Community early this morning after an illness lasting three months. Mrs. Snyder had been a lifelong resident of Tuscaloosa County and was an active member of the Baptist Church. She was 64 years old.
Surviving Mrs. Snyder are her husband and three daughters, Mrs. Sara Foster of Ensley, Mrs. Jessie Bagwell of Northport, and Mrs. Myrtle Smith of Holt.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday from the Mt. Paran Baptist Church on the Watermelon Road with burial in Bethel Presbyterian Church Cemetery by Jones and Spigener. The Rev. Foster Mills will officiate at the funeral.
The nephews of the deceased will serve as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will include T. R. Terry, J.R. Christian, Louis Lesley, Cole Lesley, S. K. Hulsey and Lesley Moshae.
