In failing health for the past 14 months, he had taken a leave of absence from the Armour Leather Co. where he had been a supervisor.
Born December 29, 1914 in Sheboygan, he was the son of the late Mr and Mrs Jacob Barbuch. He attended the Sheboygan Vocational School and on June 14, 1941 married in Sheboygan.
During WWII, Mr Barbuch served in the US Army with the 101st Airborne Division, parachuted into European D-Day and served in the European theatre for the rest of the war.
He was a member of Ss Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church, the Holy Name Society of the parish, the American-Slovenian Organization-KSKJ, 101st Airborne Association,VFW Wolf-Olson Post 1230, Armour Leather Men's Social Club and the Armour Leather Recreation Club.
Burial will be in Greendale Cemetery.
