LORETTA M. WELLS MILTON - Loretta M. Wells, 93, of Milton, died peacefully on Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2009, in the Birchwood Terrace Nursing facility in Burlington.
Loretta was born on Oct. 18, 1915, in St. Cloude, P.Q. Canada, the daughter of the late Stanasclaus and Elizabeth Parras Meunier.
She was married to Robert Francis Wells Sr. who predeceased her on June 19, 1990.
A resident of Milton since 1969, Loretta resided at Birchwood Terrace for the past 11 years. She was a parishioner of St. Ann Parish in Milton.
She is survived by her stepson Robert F. Wells Jr. and his wife Fern of Milton; her special nephew, Stephen Richer and his wife Joan of Burlington; and several other nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Rose Bennett; her stepdaughter Barbara McCarthy; and her stepson George Wells.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2009, at 11 a.m. in St. John Vianney Catholic Church in South Burlington.
Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery in Burlington.
