Mrs. Isabella L. Adams, 67, a resident of the Washington area for 40 years, died at her home, 750 Silver Spring Ave., Silver Spring, on Sunday after an illness of six months.
She was a former Treasury Department clerk, retiring in 1943 after 28 years of service. She had been a resident of Silver Spring for the past 38 years.
She is survived by her husband, Clifton L. Adams; a daughter, Mrs. Mary E. Quigley, of the home address, and a son, Clifton L. Adams, Jr., of 5703 Jamestown Rd., Hyattsville.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. in the Warner E. Pumphrey funeral home, 8434 Georgia Ave., Silver Spring. Burial will be in Rockville Union Cemetery.
