Paul V. Bryant, 80, a retired Canadian postmaster, died Tuesday morning, April 19, 1966, in the Edward Abraham Memorial Home in Canadian.
Funeral services were held in the First Baptist church with the Rev. Roy Noland, pastor, officiating.
Burial was in the Canadian Cemetery under the direction of Stickley Funeral Home.
Mr. Bryant, born in Missouri, moved to Canadian from Arkansas in 1911. He served as postmaster 30 years before his retirement. He was a Mason and a member of Khiva Temple of the Shrine.
Surviving are his wife, Lois; a daughter, Mrs. Lois Carol King of Canadian; a brother, Bland F. of Success, Arkansas; two sisters, Mrs. Faye Lewis of Success and Mrs. Julia Thompson of Portales, New Mexico, two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
