Funeral will be held 4 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 12, 1997 at Groometown United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
A native of Guilford County, she was a graduate of UNC-G, with a B.S. in Nursing. She was currently employed at the High Point Regional Hospital as nursing supervisor in the emergency room.
Survivors include her husband, Michael Lee Mitchell of the home; daughter, Mallory Christine Britt of the home; son, Matthew Gray Britt of the home; parents, Robert H. and Ann E. Lackey of Greensboro; brother, Jeffrey Lackey of Greensboro; maternal grandmother, Marie B. Elkins of Greensboro; uncles, George L. Elkins, John W. Elkins and Don Lackey, all of Greensboro.
The family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. Monday, Aug. 11 at Hanes-Lineberry Sedgefield Chapel and other times at the home of her parents, 4800 Groometown Road, Greensboro.
