In his genealogy papers my great great grandfather in about 1913 wrote the following: Joseph Camblin,born in Ireland , came to America when 18 years old, date not known. He married Sarah Evans, of Holland parentage. They had four children, David, Robert, George and Rebecca. We know nothing of these except George, who was born probably around 1780. He married Elinor Llewellyn B. 1782, probably about 1804. They spent some time in Pennsylvania and in 1811 moved to Ohio. They spent their years at Johnsonville, Montgomery Co., Ohio. He died in 1856 and she in 1861. They were faithful members of the M.E. Church. We do not know the ages of all their children. The names are as follows:* Sarah,oldest;Lavina ,second; Cephas D, Aaron Sibet, John , Mary Ellen, Anna, and Philip Llewellyn George.
