DELPHOS - Mrs. Bessie M. Biggs, 88, of Dephos, died at 3:15 a.m. today at St. Rita's Hospital, Lima.
Born Aug. 5, 1880, in Roanoke, Ind., she was the daughter of DeRoy and Melissa (Wilkerson) Welch. She was married May 5, 1905, to Thomas K. Biggs, who died in 1951.
Survivors include a son, Thomas of California; a daughter, Mrs. Roy (Virginia) Baxter of Delphos; eight grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Biggs was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Delphos.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Harter and Son Memorial Chapel with the Rev. John Wilcox officiating. Burial will be in the IOOF Cemetery, Roanoke, Ind.
Friends may call at the funeral home after noon Friday.
