Clarence E. Reed, 84, of Pocola, OK, passed away Friday, September 18, 2009. He was born November 9, 1924 in the Peno Bottoms to the late Lawrence H. and Grace Arnold Reed.
He was retired Office Manager for Anglen Diesel. He was a former Warehouse Parts Supervisor for Halliburton Energy Services. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Pocola, OK, a 32nd Degree Mason since 1952, member of the Scottish Rite Bodies and Shrine. He was a Navy Veteran of World War II.
Funeral service was at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Spiro City Cemetery with Military Honors under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home in Fort Smith, AR.
He is survived by his wife of 67 years Lita, two daughters Vicki Zettlemoyer of Casper, WY and Kim Marvel of Fort Smith, AR, one son James C. Reed and his wife June of Bristow, OK, two sisters Thelma Reid and Ruby Holt both of Edmond, OK, one brother Larry Reed of Arkoma, OK, nine grandchildren James C. E. Reed, Tami Reed, Shonn Reed, Shannon Altom, Tony Zettlemoyer, Todd Zettlemoyer, Trisha Miller, Brian Marvel and Joe Marvel and five great grandchildren Joseph Reed, Jessica Reed, Troy Altom , Carson Altom and Karlita Miller.
