Homedale- Requiem Mass for Mrs. Mary Zelma Green, 73, of Homedale, who died Sunday in a Nampa hospital after an illness, will be celebrated at St. Hubert's Catholic Church at 10:30 a.m. Thursday by the Rev. Fr. Thomas Taylor. Interment will be at Marsing- Homedale Cemetery. Rosary will be recited at Homedale's Flahiff Funeral Chapel at 8 p.m. today.
Mrs. Green was born July 1, 1901 in Royal, Iowa, and moved with her parents to Eureka, Mont., when she was four. She was reared there, and later taught in elementary schools of the area for several years. She married Dewey C. Green Sept. 4, 1922, in Eureka, and they moved to Homedale in 1965 from St. Maries. They observed their fiftieth wedding anniversary in 1972. She was a member St. Hubert's Catholic Church and Altar Society.
Surviving in addition to Mr. Green are seven sons, Robert, Las Vegas, Donald, Calder, John, Denver, Laurence, Coeur d'Alene, James, St. Maries, Ben, Horseshoe Bend, and Ted, Auburn Wash.; six daughters, Sister Rosemary C.S.I., Santa Rosa, Calif., Regina Green, Homedale, Mrs. O. A. Deede, Auburn, Wash., Zita Winter, Boville, Agnes Humphrey, Boring, Ore., and Mrs. Tom McQuade, Calder; three brothers Lynn J. Schuck, Mercer Island, Wash., Norbert L. Schuck., Eureka, and William Schuck, Cut Bank, Mont.; two sisters, Mrs. Beryle Kennewick, Wash., and Mrs. V.B. Richey, Spokane; 35 Grandchildren and one great-grandson. She was preceded in death by a daughter, a brother, two sisters, and a granddaughter.
