Death of Wm. V. Teeter

William Vaughn Teeter died at one o’clock this afternoon from cancer of the stomach, having been unconscious most of the time for the past week. He had been an invalid for four or five months, bearing his painful affliction with manly fortitude.

Mr. Teeter was born in Peruville sixty years ago and resided in this county all his life, and in Ithaca during the last thirteen years. His occupation as a wool and general produce buyer made him known throughout the county, his spotless integrity and unvarying amiability winning a friend in every man who learned to know him.

Mr. Teeter married a daughter of Mr. Pliny Hall of this city who survives her husband. The funeral will take place Wednesday at 2:30 P.M., at Mr. Hall’s residence, No. 77 South Albany street.
