Noah "Jay" Cox Jr., age 74 of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, died Sunday, September 13, 2009 at Crockett Hospital in Lawrenceburg. He was a native of Lawrence County, Tennessee, a retired veteran and truck driver.
He is survived by his son, Robert Cox of Lawrenceburg. Three sisters, Laura Cox Price of Ohio, Betty Cox White of Ethridge, and Stella Cox Parker of Georgia. A brother, Allen Paul Cox of Lawrenceburg.
Funeral services for Noah "Jay" Cox Junior will be Friday at 1:00 at Neal Funeral Home with Thomas Mattox officiating and burial to follow in Kidd Cemetery with full military honors. Visitation will be Thursday from 2:00 till 8:00 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.
