Justin Thomas Stevenson passed away on May 28, 2006 at the age of 28. Born on August 9, 1977 in Carmichael, Calif. As a graduate of Golden Sierra High School, Justin pursued higher education in Chico, Calif., ultimately earning a degree in Communication Design with an option in Graphics Design from California State University - Chico in 2004. Through art and a variety of mediums Justin cultivated his artistic talents. He was an accomplished writer and vigorous reader with an insatiable curiosity for the world at large. But nothing compared to his music. During his residence in Chico, Calif. Justin was a lead singer for a band called the Lush Rollers. His creativity had no limit. Everything he did, he did it to perfection. His constant comedy and willingness to make all those around him smile was a source of comfort for all. As an accomplished guitarist Justin penned lyrics and songs straight from his heart. Justin was a truly unique individual that encompassed what it is to be a beautiful human being.
He is survived by mother and father, Carolyn and Kent; sister, Jeryn; grandparents Gordon and Nancy; aunts; Terrie, Cathy, Cindy, Martha and Debby; uncles Tom, Norm, Randy; cousins Tara, John, Doug, Ron, Tommy; second cousin Nick; and loving girlfriend Erica Ramirez. He was preceded in death by grandparents Marion and Anne Stevenson.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, June 5, 2006 at 10 a.m. at the New Auburn Cemetery, Auburn, Calif.
