"Death of E.E. Henry.

Was Native of Canada and an Early Day Photographer.
E.E. Henry, 87 years old, who came to Leavenworth in the early days as a photographer, and before whom many of the older residents of this city posed, died Sunday afternoon at his home, 710 Ottawa street. Mr. Henry was a native of Toronto, Canada, coming to Leavenworth in 1866. He established a gallery here and his fame as a photographer was widespread. For years he enjoyed a big business but of late years he was incapacitated for active service.

Funeral services are to be held this afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the Davis Chapel. Rev. R.K. Pooley of St. Paul's Episcopal Church will have charge. Interment will be at Mount Muncie Cemetery. Mr. Henry is survived by several brothers who live in Canada."
